Answer by Superguy1221
It means teenagers can’t get jobs (or are lazy) and don’t get the life skills that come from working.

Embedded Learning Opportunity
To set up my environment for my embedding learning opportunity to occur, I chose to set out some wooden blocks on the carpeted area. I knew at least one child would be interested in playing with the blocks during center time. I waited until a few students were over in the block area, and then I asked one child what he was building and then built upon his interest and ideas. The targeted behavior was preposition words (on, top, bottom, next to, behind, down). I used preposition words as I was helping to build the “tall tower” and placing my blocks. A girl that was helping build the tower picked up the word “on top” and placed her block on top of another block while saying “And, I’m gonna put mine on top of tower.” I love how embedding is so natural for children because they don’t even know that we are trying to teach them and it can seem like cooperative play. Sometimes teachers get so caught up in their own agenda for teaching certain skills, that they don’t take the time to capture the teachable moments and embed learning opportunities guided by the child’s interests.

Telecommunications Schools – Learning Opportunities
The use of technology to look inside a person’s body and create images for medical reasons is used daily. The individuals that perform this function have an education in sonography. Online distance learning schools are increasing the opportunities to earn a degree in this field by offering specialized training to students. There are numerous things to learn about gaining an education in Sonography prior to enrollment.
1. The technology used is an ultrasound based diagnostic machine that allows specialists to view the inside of a patient’s body. The objective is to generate images of muscles, joints, blood vessels, and internal organs to examine if a patient has any medical conditions that need to be addressed. The use of a sonography machine is different than an x-ray machine because it uses sound waves to produce an image. Online training teaches students how to work with the technology and understand medical terminology.
Schools with online programs provide opportunities to students who can’t attend a traditional college. Students have the ability to choose their schedule and study when it’s convenient for them. Responsibilities include videotaping or photographing images so the patient’s doctor can interpret them. Explaining the procedure, keeping patient records, and managing equipment are other aspects of the job completed throughout a standard day.
2. Certificates, associate’s degree, and bachelor’s degree programs are available through online study. Completing an associate’s degree is the most common path taken because it is the minimum requirement for work. A bachelor’s degree program allows students to expand their knowledge and work through the program to become specialized in one area of the field like vascular or cardiac sonography.
Online certificate programs are pursued by already working students that need or want to increase their knowledge in a number of areas. Students need to take into consideration that clinical hours are required. These required hours are usually logged at a clinic or hospital near the students home. This time is dedicated to gaining practical experience.
3. A two-year associate’s degree program provides students with all the necessary knowledge to work professionally. Learned skills involve working directly with patients, using industry technology, and completing medical paperwork. Online programs contain specific subjects like patient management, medical technology, and professionalism to help students succeed in the workplace. Curriculum explores all areas including terminology, anatomy, and cardiac sonography. With an associate’s degree students can find careers within the healthcare field.
4. When pursuing a specialty student’s work through online bachelor’s degree programs that take approximately four years to complete. The first two years of training consist of major categories related to sonography. Online studies in medical administration, calculus, medical terminology, and chemistry can make up specific areas of study in the first half of the program. The final two years of study students can choose a specialty and start specific training. These areas can include vascular or gynecological sonography. Career opportunities include diagnostic medical sonographer and sonography systems administrator.
Accredited online sonography schools prepare students for the field by giving them specialized training. Accreditation is provided to schools that can offer students the best quality education. Agencies like the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology can provide full accreditation to qualifying programs. Students can begin industry specific schooling by entering a program from their home. The right program is different for all students but online education is a great way to enter a career in sonography.
The ability to communicate over long distances and look up movie show times on the Internet is possible with the use of technology. In this sense, technology is used as telecommunications and students have a wide selection of learning opportunities through telecommunications schools to choose from. Colleges offer degree programs to prepare students to work with telecommunications and its technology.
Fundamentally, telecommunications connects people together with the purpose of communicating. In all forms professionals work to establish open channels for communication. Students learn about satellite systems, digital systems, circuits, electronic applications, and more that all relate to communication technology. Colleges offer many degree programs that have students studying areas like electronics engineering technology and technical management.
Opportunities for schooling are available at the associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degree levels.
An associate’s degree centers on teaching the background of telecommunications. Overall, education at this level strongly prepares students to work in the field installing, managing, and fixing equipment. Through education students learn not only to help a business with their current need but their future need as well. This means incorporating plans for newer technologies and devices in a few years when the technology grows. Computer hardware, software, software design, and data compression are a few areas that students learn to work with. Courses that facilitate learning include:
Computer Concepts
Operating Systems
Data Transmission
Electrical Circuits
More concentration areas open up when students start their education at the bachelor’s degree level.
A business degree with a telecommunications management concentration teaches students how to work with telecommunications technology inside the business field. Study is focused on giving students complete understanding of the communication field. Skills learned incorporate working with business technology like telecom application, networking, security, data, and information. These skills are obtained through the study in courses that include:
Policies of Telecommunication
Management
Network Design Application
Teleconferencing
A bachelor’s degree in telecommunications technology teaches students to apply engineering procedures and skills to design and implement systems. Courses dive into specific training in data networking, communications protocol, digital signal processing, Internet access, and relational databases. This specialized study introduces students to the skills needed to transmit information correctly over network channels and routers. Students are able to step into a career and successfully work with all the technology involved in telecommunications.
Beginning a master’s degree program allows students to fully develop basic and advanced skills. Students learn how to plan, obtain, manage, and evaluate systems. Programs focus on the structure of the technology environment by working to achieve a solid strategic plan with technology assessment. Theories and practices are worked through to develop skills in solving and anticipating technological problems. Students can expect to learn how to work with applications, operating systems, local area networks, and system databases. Specific coursework may include:
Advanced Data Structures
Network Design and Analysis
Advanced Data Communications
Telecommunications Systems Analysis
Graduates will enter a field that is growing in strength based on the need of individuals, businesses, and government agencies. Students can begin studying and start learning how to work with the latest communication technology. Telecommunications schools that are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology and other agencies are waiting for dedicated students to fill their classrooms, enroll today.
